Anima Christi

Soul of Christ. sanctify me. Body of Christ. save me.

The Anima Christi is one of the Church's most beautiful prayers. especially treasured as a prayer after Holy Communion. Its words draw us into the mystery of Christ's Body and Blood. asking Him to sanctify. save. strengthen. and keep us close to Himself.

This design focuses on one of the most powerful lines of the prayer: O Good Jesus. hear me; within Thy wounds. hide me. The image of the Eucharistic Host marked by the wound of Christ reflects the heart of that prayer. In the Eucharist. we receive the same Jesus who gave Himself completely on the Cross. and we are invited to find our refuge in Him.

Within Thy wounds. hide me.
